Queerly Disabled was founded with community in mind, creating the intersection for LGBTQ+ and Disabled identities.
How to join us:

In-Person
Founded in SoCal, Queerly Disabled currently holds meetings in Orange Country, California once a month, with hopes to expand!

Virtually
QD is now offered as an online community meetup for those who identify as LGBTQ+ and disabled and/or neurodivergent.
Claire Raymond- Founder and Facilitator (she/her)
Currently studying psychology, Claire understands the importance of community and the need for inclusivity in queer spaces. Undergoing 21 surgeries for Tethered Cord Syndrome caused by Spina Bifida, Claire has lived with chronic illness for well over a decade, adding POTS and major depressive disorder to her challenges. It was isolating, so she made a change. Locally, Claire launched QD as a safe space for anyone looking for friendship and resources. With the social of QD, she launched her virtual version in 2026 to help extend the community to those who cannot find it locally.
